The CCISD Reflections Art Clinic sponsored by SEPTA was held on Tuesday, October 4th, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the Robinson Elementary Cafeteria
What a great night! We had about 30 students attend (around 60 people total), with stations for literature, photography, music composition, visual arts and dance. The kids had passports and when they got each station to sign off, they were entered in a drawing for prizes. Clear Lake Music Lessons donated a guitar and lesson, author Lisa Godfrees donated one of her books and we had three pumpkin decorating kits.
The kids were really engaged and having fun, and the parents got to socialize and meet each other. Each of the stations brought materials to help the kids with that particular artwork. We had drums, guitar and xylophone, dancing, painting and drawing, and even story-writing. It was really fun!
Reflections is a PTA art contest. The student or at least one person from their primary household must be a current member of the Local PTA/PTSA where the student is participating. 2016-2017 Reflections Theme: What is Your Story?

About the Clinic
Advisors in each art contest category will be on hand at the clinic to give tips and engage the stu-dents in activities to get their creative juices flowing! All CCISD students (general education and special education) are invited to attend this art clinic. We want to help students be more prepared to work on their contest submission.
